Adam A4V + Sound ID Reference - Enceintes et casque + Micro
Sound ID Reference - Speakers & Headphones + Mic
Speaker and headphone calibration software that delivers consistently accurate studio reference sound.
In less than 20 minutes, you can calibrate your existing studio speakers using a measurement microphone (buy from us or use your own).
measurement microphone (buy from us or use your own) and calibrate your headphones
You can also calibrate your existing headphones using over 280 headphone calibration profiles already included in the software as ready-to-use presets. With a calibration profile applied, the software sets the frequency response to be completely flat across all audible frequencies, giving you the confidence that every mix will translate. You can also make custom adjustments to the target curve in real time with the new Custom Target feature.
With precise studio reference sound, you can seamlessly move from speaker to speaker, headphone to headphone, and room to room. Finally, you can mix with confidence and make music that sounds great anywhere.
ADAM A4V - THE ROOM
Designed for small studios, tight listening distances, and immersive multichannel setups, the A4V delivers full, accurate sound in a compact form factor. This two-way speaker features the classic X-ART tweeter and a 4-inch long-excursion woofer made from the same Multi-Layer Mineral Fiber (MLM) as the other A-Series speakers. Onboard DSP-based tuning options make it easy to achieve the ideal sound for your listening space. With a frequency range of 53 Hz to 50 kHz, the A4V is suitable for a wide range of audio applications – from podcast production to string quartet mixing. It will also integrate perfectly into immersive sound setups.
Pivoting HPS Waveguide & X-ART Tweeter
ADAM Audio’s HPS (High-Frequency Propagation System) waveguide technology allows sound to be projected more evenly, wide horizontally but narrower vertically. The A-Series introduces a pivoting HPS waveguide. You can rotate the A-Series tweeters 90 degrees, while still benefiting from the HPS waveguide technology whether you install your speakers vertically or horizontally.
The A-Series HPS waveguide is made from a new glass fibre polymer compound, which helps create a clean sound without any unwanted resonance. At the centre of the pivoting HPS waveguide is ADAM Audio’s X-ART tweeter. Handcrafted in Germany, the X-ART tweeter delivers precise transient response and reproduces the finest sonic details. This X-ART tweeter is used in every A-Series speaker to deliver accurate sound across the range.
Multi-Layer Mineral Fibre Woofer
The A-Series woofers are made from a specific blend of mineral rock fibres that are fired together to create a lightweight yet extremely stable material. The mineral composition, stacking and geometry of each cone is specific to the driver used in each model. By combining this material with the new magnet system, the A-Series woofers produce high output with very little distortion for crisp bass.
Hybrid Amplification
The A Series combines the best of the digital and analog worlds. The woofers are powered by Class D amplifiers, which help produce linear performance while reducing distortion. These amplifiers were specifically chosen for their power and efficiency, both in terms of power consumption and sound reproduction. Less heat dissipation allows for a smaller heat sink, making it easier to invest further in the exceptional power and performance of the A Series models.
The tweeters and midrange drivers are powered by Class AB amplifiers, which reproduce high frequencies smoothly and naturally. Each amplifier is optimized for its operating range. The result is a finely tuned and correctly aligned speaker. To achieve this, ADAM Audio conducted numerous measurements and listening sessions, testing countless amplifiers and amplification components.
