Developped around a "1960 Stratocaster Base Model",FENDER Custom Shop Time Machine 1963 Stratocaster Relic Fiesta Red #R117571 (9238013887) solid body electric guitar features 2-piece Alder body, quarter-sawn Maple neck (60's Oval C profile, 9.5" radius), "sort for dark" flat-lam Rosewood fretboard (jumbo frets, 9.5" radius), Custom Shop Hand-wound 60/63 (neck) and Tomatillo (center/bridge) pickups and traditional/vintage-style parts.
A clear sounding pickup with plenty of chime, Tomatillo is crafted with Alnico 2 magnets, simulating what a several decades aged Fender Alnico 5 single-coil from the '50s would sound like nowadays.
