Manufactured in Berlin, the ESSENCE is a high-performance studio microphone that represents a true world first. It combines an innovative design with patented selectable Transformer/Electronic output technology, offering a sonic palette ranging from a fast, clear, and detailed response to warmer, more intimate tones, rich in harmonics and deep bass.

Its modern aesthetic is complemented by backlit, touch-sensitive controls, reversible orientation, an integrated peak level indicator, and a handcrafted 1-inch gold-plated Mylar condenser capsule. This combination makes it one of the most comprehensive microphones on the market, offering exceptional value for money.

The capsule, the heart of the sound, was developed after extensive double-blind testing conducted with international engineers and artists. The result: a 6-micron gold-plated diaphragm, externally polarized, guaranteeing natural and musical reproduction. The internal electronics, designed with four high-quality printed circuit boards, ensure a linear response, extremely low self-noise, and a headroom exceeding 140 dBA, all powered by a standard 48V phantom power supply.

The most striking innovation remains the ability to switch between two output types in real time. In Transformer mode, the sound gains density and smoothness, ideal for vocals, guitars, or brass instruments. In Electronic mode, the response is faster and more transparent, perfect for percussion or dynamic acoustic instruments.

Designed to be as practical as it is high-performing, the ESSENCE features lockable controls, a low-cut filter and roll-off to reduce noise and vibrations, and an LED clipping indicator to anticipate any risk of distortion.
