Atkin The Forty Three #3851 - aged sunburst
Hand built in England in very small quantities, ATKIN The Thirty Three #3851 acoustic guitar is a magnificent "Round Shoulders" Dreadnought, that looks and reacts as a true vintage instrument.
Its flawless solid lutherie is made from the best sounding and most beautiful tonewoods : torrefied Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany back/sides, "Scalloped X" bracing, Mahogany neck and Santos Rosewood fingerboard / bridge.
It's an incredibly dynamic, powerful, rich guitar with an astounding frequency balance.
The Thirty Three is a long scale version of the Atkin's J. The 25.4" scale length helps to provide more tension on the strings which in turn moves the bridge closer to the end of the body.
Sitka on Indian Rosewood also pulls out some of those piano like tones which are loved so much by Dreadnought fans. It’s stylish, it’s a joy to play, it feels like a walk in the park.
Santos Rosewood is the perfect combination between Ebony and Indian Rosewood (warmer and more brilliant than Ebony).
