The Audiophony CARBON12A is a 12-inch, 2-way active speaker designed for live performances, DJs, fixed installations, and event production. Its 1500 W RMS Class D amplification provides significant headroom while maintaining a compact, lightweight form factor.
Equipped with a 12" woofer and a 1.35" compression driver featuring a polymer diaphragm, it delivers punchy bass and precise highs that are clearer and more transparent than those produced by traditional titanium-diaphragm drivers.
Its built-in DSP, featuring a 2.4" color screen, offers quick access to playback modes (Normal, Live, Club, Speech) as well as settings for EQ, delay, high-pass filtering (HPF), and ducking. System management can also be handled remotely via the CARBONcontrol app (iOS/Android), making it ideal for controlling multiple speakers simultaneously.
Connectivity options include two XLR/Jack combo inputs with automatic Line/Mic switching, Bluetooth connectivity with True Wireless Stereo (TWS) functionality, and an XLR output configurable for Mix or Link modes.
Its nitrogen-assisted injection-molded plastic cabinet enhances rigidity and durability while keeping weight low. The asymmetrical design also allows for use as a stage monitor.
