Austrian audio CC8
The Austrian Audio CC8 is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone designed around a hand-built OCC7 capsule, inspired by the legendary CK1 capsule.
This capsule offers a linear frequency response, a natural, open sound, and detailed reproduction of transients, without aggressive treble, even at high volume levels.
Each microphone is measured and calibrated at the factory to a strict tolerance, making it easy to pair multiple CC8s for stereo configurations.
The CC8 is suitable for capturing acoustic instruments such as guitars, pianos, brass, strings, percussion and full drums, offering optimum fidelity for professional studio recordings or live situations.
