The Austrian Audio OC616 is a professional large-diaphragm, multi-pattern condenser microphone, handcrafted in Vienna. It features the CKR12 capsule, the latest evolution of the legendary CK12 brass capsule, combining an open, detailed, and natural sound with the precision and reliability of modern ceramic technology.

Thanks to Austrian Audio’s Open Acoustic Technology, the OC616 reduces internal reflections and acoustic interference before they reach the capsule. As a result, it delivers precise, transparent, and natural sound reproduction, with excellent depth and a wealth of detail.

Its 5 selectable polar patterns, 3 high-pass filters, and 2 attenuators allow it to adapt to a wide range of situations: vocals, voice-overs, acoustic instruments, guitar and bass amps, drum overheads, stereo recordings, ambient mics, or live applications. With a maximum SPL of 157 dB and a dynamic range of 134 dB, it is also capable of handling very high-level sound sources.
