Casio AP-S200BK - noir
The Casio Celviano AP-S200BK is a compact digital piano designed to offer a natural playing experience and sound quality close to that of an acoustic piano, while blending easily into any home décor. Its black wood-grain finish and shallow cabinet make it an elegant solution for daily practice at home.
Its 88-key Smart Scaled Hammer Action keyboard combines a compact hammer action mechanism with precise digital control. The white keys feature an ivory-inspired finish, and the black keys have a texture similar to ebony, providing a pleasant and natural feel under the fingers. The touch response is adjustable across 5 levels to adapt the keyboard’s behavior to the pianist’s playing style.
The AP-S200 uses Multi-Dimensional Morphing AiR sound technology, designed to reproduce the tonal nuances and resonances characteristic of a grand piano. It offers 19 tones and a maximum polyphony of 192 notes, ensuring detailed sound reproduction even during complex passages or with sustained pedal use.
The 88-key Digital Scaling technology individually adjusts the sound response across the entire keyboard range. The piano also reproduces several acoustic phenomena, including string resonance, damper pedal resonance, mechanical key noise, and damper pedal noise.
The Layer and Split functions allow you to layer two sounds or assign different sounds to different parts of the keyboard, respectively. The Duo/Four-Hand mode makes it easy to work with a teacher or play duets on the same instrument.
The built-in audio system features two 12-cm speakers powered by a 20 W + 20 W amplifier. The Volume Sync EQ function maintains a pleasant sound balance at low volumes, while headphone mode optimizes sound reproduction during silent playing.
The AP-S200BK features a built-in 3-pedal action with forte, sostenuto, and soft functions. The forte pedal also supports the half-pedal function to more accurately reproduce the nuances of an acoustic piano.
For practice and recording, the piano includes a 2-track MIDI recorder as well as an audio recorder that can save up to 99 songs of approximately 25 minutes each to a compatible USB storage device. It also offers 60 built-in songs and allows you to add up to 10 user songs.
Wireless connectivity is provided by the included WU-BT10 adapter, enabling Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth MIDI Low Energy. The AP-S200BK is also compatible with the CASIO MUSIC SPACE app, which makes it easy to control various piano functions from a smartphone or tablet.
With its compact design, hammer-action keyboard, powerful audio system, and modern connectivity, the Casio Celviano AP-S200BK is a complete solution for both beginner and experienced pianists looking for an elegant and versatile digital piano.
