Jim James, the vocalist, producer, primary songwriter, and guitarist for My Morning Jacket, has long impressed fans worldwide with his band and his solo projects.
Based on one of his favorite guitars, the EPIPHONE Jim James ES-335 (EIES335JJSVWNH3) semi hollow body electric guitar features a 70s Walnut-finished 5-ply laminated Maple body with a solid Maple center block for increased sustain and a Mahogany neck with a Jim James Custom SlimTaper™ C profile and an indian Laurel fretboard with dot inlays.
The Alnico Classic PRO™ pickups are paired with CTS® potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors.
Personal touches include vintage-style Kluson® Waffleback tuners with metal buttons, a circle/arrow emblem on the truss rod cover, and an owl decal on the back of the headstock.
A hardshell case with an owl logo is also included.
