ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Inspired by the legendary EVANS EMAD system, the REMAD is an external damping device designed for the 4" (10.2 cm) microphone ports on bass drum resonant heads. Once installed around the 4" microphone port, the REMAD ring provides additional harmonic attenuation to improve attack and tonal definition. Each REMAD includes a foam ring that can be installed or removed to allow for finer tuning of the attenuation.
