The CD-60SCE All-Mahogany features a solid mahogany top, a laminated mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck, and a walnut fingerboard (25.3" scale).
This combination, inspired by Martin’s 15 Series models, produces a sound that is both rich and warm, with round, punchy bass, particularly pronounced mids, and full-bodied treble.
The tonal characteristics of walnut make it a good alternative to rosewood.
Its consistent natural volume makes it suitable for purely “unplugged” settings.
In terms of comfort and playability, it’s a remarkable guitar, with a particularly pleasant “Easy-to-Play” neck profile and a cutaway that facilitates access to the highest notes.
