This GIBSON Custom Shop Artisan Series SJ-200 Elegant Koa (CSJB20EKHB) is a sumptuous reinterpretation of the 1960s SJ-200, which was played at the time by such renowned artists as Pete Townshend, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, and Jimmy Page.

The Gibson Artisan Series SJ-200 Elegant Koa is a Super Jumbo-style electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar featuring an all-solid-wood construction, masterfully crafted from woods selected with the utmost rigor: AAA Sitka spruce top, koa back and sides, and Indian rosewood fingerboard.
Koa is a tropical hardwood tree native to the island of Hawaii. It is a dense wood that combines the rich mids of mahogany with the brilliance of maple. Instruments crafted from koa will inevitably improve with years of use, gaining warmth, smoothness, and openness.

It is equipped with an LR Baggs™ Anthem preamp, which allows you to perform high-quality recordings on stage or in the studio. It combines a traditional under-nut pickup (for precision and accurate reproduction of playing nuances) with an internal microphone (for volume and fullness). You can blend the two sources to achieve the ideal sound for your needs. A phase inverter helps you control any feedback.
