The calibrated Gibson T-Type humbuckers, replica of Gibson’s T-Top humbucker pickups used from 1968-1980—the same model pickup Jimmy Page installed in the bridge his own 1959 Gibson Les Paul Sunburst, affectionately dubbed his “No. 1,” which helped to forever define the sound of ‘70s hard rock.
Known for their consistency, clarity, and note definition, Gibson’s original T-Tops became known for offering brilliant chime without sacrificing low-end.
