The all-solid-wood construction combines traditional woods with an AAA Sitka spruce top, an AAA maple body and sides, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard (20 frets).
It delivers clear, powerful, percussive, and glossy tones. The bass is precise and responsive, while the mids and highs are well-defined with excellent articulation.

The SJ-200 60s Original is equipped with the exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA system.
The HiFi DNA system uses two pickups positioned under the bridge instead of the usual piezo. They perform recordings of vibrations from both the strings and the soundboard. The result is an even more natural and dynamic sound that faithfully reproduces the instrument’s original acoustic character.
Each Baggs HiFi DNA sensor has its own active preamp. The volume and tone controls are located on the inner edge of the soundhole.
