The GIBSON Modern Collection SJ-200 Standard Maple (MCJB20HFTB) retains the fundamental characteristics of the original Super Jumbo, enhanced with a Baggs HiFi DNA preamp.

The Gibson SJ-200 Standard’s all-solid-wood construction combines traditional woods: a Sitka spruce top, a flamed maple body and sides, a maple neck, and an Indian rosewood fingerboard (25.5" scale, 20 frets).
It delivers clear, powerful, percussive, and glossy tones. The bass is precise and responsive, while the mids and highs are well-defined with excellent articulation.
Add to this its Super Jumbo body size, and you get an acoustic guitar that is both powerful and warm—one that will particularly appeal to singer-songwriters and fans of country, Americana, or traditional folk music.

The SJ-200 Standard is equipped with the exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA system.
The HiFi DNA system uses two pickups positioned under the bridge instead of the usual piezo pickup. They perform recordings of vibrations from both the strings and the soundboard. The result is an even more natural and dynamic sound that faithfully reproduces the instrument’s original acoustic character.
Each Baggs HiFi DNA sensor has its own active preamp. The volume and tone controls are located on the inner edge of the soundhole.
