Hk audio ELEMENTS MK2 SMART BASE
The HK AUDIO ELEMENTS MK2 SMART BASE is a complete modular sound system from the ELEMENTS MK2 line, designed for conferences, presentations, corporate events, DJ performances, small bands, and traditional or modern religious events.
The system consists of two ELEMENTS MK2 635 column modules, one ELEMENTS MK2 SPACER, and one ELEMENTS MK2 110 Sub A active subwoofer. This configuration leverages the ELEMENTS MK2 modular line array principle, delivering uniform coverage and excellent intelligibility throughout the entire listening area.
Each of the two ELEMENTS MK2 635 modules features six 3.25" drivers paired with Phase Plug waveguides. Their 90° x 5° dispersion pattern ensures precise and uniform sound distribution, while the system’s DSP automatically detects the number of midrange/tweeter modules connected and applies the appropriate filters.
The ELEMENTS MK2 110 Sub A subwoofer is equipped with a 10" driver and a Class D amplifier delivering 900 W RMS and 1,800 W peak power. Compact in size, it delivers powerful low-midrange and natural sound reproduction that is particularly well-suited for vocals, while offering sufficient headroom for musical applications.
The HK Audio SnapLock system allows for quick, tool-free assembly of the subwoofer, spacer, and column modules. The mechanical connection and signal transmission are integrated directly between the various components, thereby eliminating visible cables on the column.
The SMART BASE also features the HK Audio DSP CONTROL platform with Flat, Contour, Voice, and Remote presets. Its Ethernet network connectivity enables system control as well as Milan AVB digital audio transmission.
According to HK Audio, this configuration is suitable for audiences of up to 250 people, depending on the program being presented, the venue, and the desired maximum sound level.
