The IBANEZ Prestige Japan Joe Satriani JS2470 CS builds on the fundamentals of previous models, featuring a Cherry Sunburst finish and, most notably, an electronics configuration that includes a DiMarzio® Satchur8 bridge pickup and a SUSTAINIAC® Driver at the neck position.
Combining an alder body, a three-piece maple/bubinga bolt-on neck, a rosewood fingerboard (25.5" Fender©-style scale, 24 medium frets), and top-quality components, this is a world-class instrument that naturally delivers a tone that’s both rich and subtle, allowing you to tackle styles as diverse as blues, funk, jazz fusion, and, of course, the “Proto-Metal” characteristic of the artist’s style.
The SUSTAINIAC® Driver system is wired into the “Stealth PRO” preamp, custom-built for Joe. It will give you endless sustain, expanding your artistic expression.
