Ibanez Talman TCY10E SFH - seafoam green high gloss
The Ibanez Talman TCY10E SFH is an ideal starter instrument for electric guitarists who want to ease into the world of steel-string acoustic guitar.
Offered at a very reasonable price, this compact and functional electro-acoustic model is very easy to play.
It features a spruce soundboard, a sapele body, an okoumé neck, and a purpleheart fingerboard.
. Sapele is a perfect substitute for mahogany, both in appearance and tone, though it has a noticeably more crystalline sound due to its significantly greater stiffness.
Purpleheart, also known as Amarante, is a relatively rare, high-quality wood from the South American forests. Its high density provides extended sustain, excellent dynamics, and clarity. It can be compared to Brazilian rosewood.
This combination of characteristics produces a sound that is both warm and clear, with thick, precise bass, rich mids, and generous highs. Its acoustic volume is surprising given its modest dimensions. It has, however, been optimized for amplified use.
Thanks to its Ibanez AEQ2T preamp, it’s easy to capture, whether on stage or in the studio.
Beginners and musicians on the go should find it particularly appealing.
