It features the Responsive Hammer Compact II action, with graduated keys and a 3-sensor system for precise and expressive playing. This action also incorporates the hammer damping and sensing technologies of the CN series models, for a responsive and quiet touch, ideal for home practice.

The piano delivers the rich and expressive sound of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX thanks to Harmonic Imaging technology, with smooth transitions from pianissimo to fortissimo. In addition to acoustic piano sounds, it offers a variety of instruments: electric pianos, organs, strings, and more. Dual and Split modes are available for added creativity.

The 40W stereo system delivers a clear and warm sound, pleasing to both player and listener.

The CX202 offers practical features to facilitate learning: Bluetooth® MIDI and USB-MIDI for easy connection to apps like Skoove, Tomplay, or PiaBookPlayer, as well as the ability to stream music from your smartphone or tablet directly to the piano's speakers via Bluetooth Audio. Two headphone jacks allow for silent playing, while the built-in metronome and recorder help track and improve your progress. The "Lesson" function offers pieces from popular methods for guided learning at home.
