The LD Systems PPA 2 is an exceptionally compact phono preamplifier that corrects the low output signal from the cartridge of a classic turntable according to the RIAA curve. This allows you to connect your turntable to devices without a phono input, such as a mixer, a sound amplifier, a sound card/audio interface...
The phono inputs, like the line outputs, are made via RCA/cinch connectors, and the PPA 2 additionally provides a screw terminal for grounding the turntable and a 6.35 mm stereo jack socket for connecting headphones. The preamplifier's distortion rate is less than 0.05% and crosstalk is less than -75 dB.
The LD Systems PPA 2 is powered by an external 12-volt power supply; its power status is indicated by an LED located on the top of the sturdy metal housing of the device.
