Powered by a high-performance DSP and the all-new Agoura modeling methodology, they deliver exceptional sound and responsiveness to playing dynamics, a sophisticated and intuitive user interface, and unmatched control capabilities. The flagship Helix Stadium XL Floor amp and effects processor can be considered a true stage workstation thanks to its high-resolution 8-inch touchscreen, high-contrast 12-band OLED technology, its ability to switch from ultra-authentic amp tonesauthentic to idealized amp tones with a single control, its 8-channel audio interface, its versatile Matrix Cue mixer, its amp proxy, speaker, and effects cloning features, as well as its Showcase automation and playback engine.
Showcase allows it to become the centerpiece of a complete live setup, featuring automatic recall of presets and snapshots, control of loopers and software, and the use of MIDI to control pedals, keyboards, and synths, video, and even lighting. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi control are also supported. The Helix Stadium XL Floor offers extensive connectivity, including various analog and digital audio inputs and outputs, MIDI (DIN and USB), versatile control jacks, and a proprietary Nexus port for use with the optional Expand D10 unit and future peripherals. The Expand D10 features Variax technology, L6 LINK, an 8-channel optical signal, and other connectors. Several expression pedals and external switches, such as the optional EX2, are also supported.
