ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Manufactured in the United States, the MARTIN GUITAR 16 Series 00L-16E 1935 Burst is a 00 Sloped Shoulder electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar with a short scale (24.9"), equipped with a Baggs Element VTC system.
It is a compact, very playable, and versatile guitar, particularly well-suited for fingerpicking and styles such as blues, bluegrass, and Americana. It is ideal for musicians seeking a traditional, professional-grade instrument.

The Martin 00L-16E features all-solid-wood construction: a Sitka spruce solid top, mahogany body and neck, and an ebony fingerboard.
This combination produces a sound that is both full-bodied and powerful, with rich bass, prominent mids, and full-bodied treble that never lacks clarity.
The ebony fingerboard subtly and naturally compresses the sound, adding clarity that can be particularly valuable in certain musical contexts.

The Baggs Element VTC (Volume Tone Control) system consists of a piezo pickup under the nut, a Class A active preamp built into the jack, and two knobs for adjusting volume and tone.
The tones—whether strumming or picking—are balanced, clear, and dynamic, naturally reproducing the vibrations of the soundboard and bridge, with a dynamic response that is less rigid or artificial than that of many competing models.
Powered by a 9V LR61 battery with a claimed battery life of approximately 1,000 hours.
