Martin Junior 000C Jr E - satin walnut burst
With a body shape roughly similar to that of a 15/16" 000 and a standard 24.9" scale length, the MARTIN GUITAR Junior Series 000C Jr E Walnut Burst is a compact electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar designed for beginners, smaller-framed players, or traveling musicians looking for a less bulky instrument for travel.
Built to the brand’s high standards, the all-solid-wood construction (spruce top, “Black Walnut” body), complemented by an ebony fingerboard and scalloped X-bracing, delivers the iconic Martin tones you’d expect.
The spruce/walnut combination offers a remarkable balance between spruce/mahogany and spruce/rosewood combinations. The bass is present but more subdued than that produced by rosewood; the mids are both rich and well-defined; and the treble is warm rather than glossy.
The ebony fingerboard adds a beautiful, subtle, natural, and musical compression.
Overall, the guitar is responsive and powerful, at least relative to its size.
The Martin E1 preamp is both unobtrusive and feature-rich, with volume, tone, phase, and a tuner.
