ABOUT THE PRODUCT
The Akai MPD226 is a MIDI over USB pad controller. As all products of the MPD2 range it comes with updated pads, thicker, with quicker response. The overall design is thiner and the control set features now 4 knobs, 4 faders, 4 buttons arranged in 3 banks for 36 total. The previous version MPD26 only counted 12. The MPD226 comes with a bundle of 4 softwares: Big Bang Drums, Big Bang Cinema de Sonivox, Ableton Live Lite and Software Preset Editor and works with Mac, PC and iOS.
