The SE Ed Sheeran Hollowbody I Piezo Baritone features a hollow body with a central block (made of mahogany and maple) that enhances its natural resonance and volume, giving it an acoustic quality while still being able to handle relatively high levels of distortion.
It’s the ideal platform for the built-in LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system—an undeniable added value! Thanks to dedicated volume and output controls, you can, depending on your needs, use an output that combines the magnetic and piezo circuits (the volume knob then allows you to balance the two signals), or use separate outputs and route the piezo signal to a suitable amplification system to optimize the acoustic tone (in which case the volume knob controls only the piezo level).
