Between tradition and modernism

The HHX Anthology series is the culmination of fundamental HHX cymbal innovations, bringing together traditional and contemporary sounds in a single cymbal. Combining AAX and HHX hammering to obtain the very essence of AAX, i.e. a pure, brilliant sound, and the specific features of HHX, which offer a fine cymbal and bring a darker sound.

Two types of sound

The anthology series offers two series: Low and High. This allows you to select the type of sound you want. A slightly higher pitch for the High series and a much higher, more pronounced bell.
Unlike the High Anthology, this hi-hat retains the raw bottom end, as on its Fierce hi-hat, for a powerful, open sound with an incredible chick.

Attention to detail
The rings of the Anthology logo are a visual representation of how this product unifies past, present, tradition and Sabian research.
The Anthology logo is curved and placed at 10:00, giving it its own space without cluttering the HHX space. All this creates an interesting balance that makes this cymbal unique in sight and incredible in sound.
The Anthology and HHX logos have lighter outlines, in gold ink, on the hammered part. The hammered bronze creates a subtle tone-on-tone effect that gives the cymbal an impression of understated, minimalist luxury.
Sabian logos, size and weight are inscribed on the back of the cymbal.
