Soyuz microphones 011 FET-M

The Soyuz 011 FET-M is a set of two small-diaphragm FET condenser microphones, designed to deliver precise, musical and natural reproduction in a compact format.

Each microphone uses a 19mm Soyuz capsule completely manufactured and machined in-house. Its tuning has been designed to offer controlled bass, smooth mids and a defined high end, allowing the details of a source to be preserved without producing an aggressive or excessively bright sound.

The 011 FET's transformerless circuitry promotes fast, articulate response with low noise levels. This design allows transients to be accurately reproduced while retaining the warmth and musical character associated with Soyuz microphones.

Thanks to its compact and lightweight format, the 011 FET can be easily placed around a drum kit, a piano or an acoustic ensemble, while remaining discreet on stage or in the studio.

Its wide dynamic range allows it to cover a wide variety of sources. It is suitable for strings and delicate acoustic instruments as well as percussion or snare drums recorded nearby.

Two -10 dB in-line attenuators are provided in order to be able to work with sources delivering high sound levels.

The 011 FET-M pair is also a particularly suitable solution for stereo sound recording, particularly for drum overheads, pianos, acoustic guitars, string ensembles, percussion and ambiences.

Interchangeable hypercardioid and omnidirectional capsules are also available separately to adapt the directivity of the microphones to different recording situations.
