With the all-new TD 124 DD, Thorens continues this tradition while adding innovative technologies. The turntable has a height-adjustable aluminium chassis that rests on anti-vibration rubber feet designed to effectively dampen vibrations. It is equipped with a high-precision direct drive system, which provides stable playback and excellent speed control.
The Thorens TD 124 DD is also compatible with 33 and 45 rpm records and has a selector switch for easy gear changes. Thorens has paid attention to every detail in the development of this turntable to ensure that it meets the highest performance requirements.

High precision J-arm
The Thorens TD 124 DD is equipped with an exclusive TP 124 J-arm, 232.8 mm long, with a ruby bearing for optimal anti-skating accuracy. The arm can be precisely adjusted to ensure the best operating conditions for the mounted sensor. In addition, a slightly heavier counterweight is provided to accommodate a wide range of phono cells.
The TP 124 arm is combined with a patented electric tone arm lifter, which facilitates the insertion and removal of the stylus. Although this mechanism can be time-consuming and noisy, it offers an added advantage for precise stylus placement. The anti-skating is managed by a weight with a ruby bearing for increased accuracy. Its installation can be done manually with patience and precision.

Independent power supply for a high-fidelity audio experience
