Warm audio JUDE-MP
The Warm Audio JUDE-MP brings the character of Sound Techniques A-Range console preamps to a single-channel format. Developed in collaboration with Sound Techniques, it utilizes the discrete Class-A 3035 amplifier circuit to capture the depth, presence, and musicality of historic British consoles. It is equally well-suited for recording vocals, acoustic guitars, pianos, and guitar amplifiers.
At the heart of its design, a 9-position Z-Match selector allows for the adjustment of the interaction between the microphone and the preamp. By altering impedance conditions and gain, this setting shapes the signal's transient response, frequency balance, and harmonic character, offering a range of sonic nuances to tailor the capture to the specific microphone and source.
The JUDE-MP combines custom-wound CineMag USA transformers with high-quality Nichicon and Wima capacitors. Features such as 48V phantom power, polarity reversal, and line-level switching round out its studio capabilities.
