TRAINING: The DTX comes with 10 built-in training functions that are unique to electronic drum kits and can be accessed via the module and the app. The module talks to you to encourage you—just like a coach or partner! These include the Song Part Gate feature, which gradually trains you over time; the Rhythm Gate feature, which helps develop a precise sense of rhythm—essential for drumming; and the Fast Blast feature, which measures the speed of your hits. There’s also a scoring feature that lets you objectively evaluate your skills. Take advantage of this comprehensive range of training features to enhance your expressiveness as a drummer. Apps: The free DTX402 Touch app lets any user easily customize drum kits and take advantage of the training features. The new Challenge mode turns learning into a game to motivate and encourage practice, helping you quickly develop drumming skills across different music genres. SEND USB AUDIO/MIDI TO YOUR CONNECTED DEVICE OR COMPUTER: Connect the module to your phone, tablet, or computer via USB, and record audio from the sounds produced by the DTX. By connecting the module to your phone or tablet and linking it to your camera app, you can easily create videos featuring the sounds produced by the DTX402. You can also connect it to your computer and link it to a DAW (digital audio workstation) for music production.

DURABLE/QUIET/EXPRESSIVE: The highly durable pads and rack have passed Yamaha’s rigorous durability tests and will save you the effort, time, and costs normally associated with maintenance or replacement of parts. The heights of the various components can also be adjusted for easy use by everyone, even young children.

The rack is made of steel and is sturdy. It’s also compact, lightweight, and foldable, allowing you to perform wherever you want.
