The DRX 12 MKII powered PA speakers are the upgraded models, offering increased sound pressure with a lighter 1.75" HF neodymium tweeter. These versatile party speakers enhance high definition sound and sound pressure levels of 134 dB SPL in a compact design The DRX series includes four models suitable for main PA, monitors, single amplification and more. Combining the series with DXS subwoofers gives you versatile control of powerful bass.

Yamaha ingenuity and NEXO expertise combine for the new DRX 12 MKII range. Yamaha collaborated with NEXO for improvements based on requests from sound professionals. The DRX 12 MKII series combines raw power with advanced DSP features for exceptional reliability and clarity.

Less Weight, More Power:

Custom DRX 12 MKII Series transducers deliver ultimate performance, with drivers producing low distortion and defined bass. The new 1.75" HF neodymium tweeter is lighter, delivering accurate midrange and treble frequencies with less weight.

Constant Directivity Wide Dispersion:

The larger HF tweeter is mounted on a constant directivity trumpet of 90° x 60°, minimizing deterioration of the radiation pattern. The trumpet provides 90° x 60° horizontal coverage.

Ultra-Precise 48-Bit DSP Processing:= Hi-Fi Sound

Wideband models use a FIR-X tuning™ filter for optimized phase response. Signals are processed by 48-bit DSPs, providing precision and smoothness not possible with conventional filters.

Intelligent Dynamic Control = Clear Sound at Every Sound Level

The D-CONTOUR is an intelligent multi-band compressor ensuring homogeneous and constant power. It offers two basic settings: FOH/MAIN mode for front-of-house sound, and MONITOR mode for use on stage monitors.

The DRX 12 MKII professional PA speakers incorporate DSP protection circuits for maximum safety. The DRX 12 MKII models and DXS boxes are equipped with an LED indicator on the front panel.
