On the Master section, both channels can be adjusted using a Tone Cut and Volume; The Tone Cut (kind of presence) operates on the power stage, thus being more efficient than on the preamp section on which it is more usually located.
The Master Volume acts in conjunction with the volume of each channel, thus allowing access to a wide variety of more or less distorted and compressed textures; It's up to you to find the settings that are most appealing to your ears.
