ABOUT THE PRODUCT

The EAST BEAST Cre 8 audio is an analogue synthesizer.

The East Beast oscillator is the result of 10 years of continuous research in the development of analogue oscillators.
Its circuitry is not a clone or based on external designs. It is made with 100% modern components. This allows it to be very stable and gives it a unique and very rich sound.
Most filters you are used to hearing are transistor ladder filters, or copies of transistor ladder filters. This is not the case with this one.
The main objective of this filter was to create a smooth, creamy filter with no dead spots, a very common phenomenon in all filters,
The East Beast's filter is a multi-mode filter, which means it can be used as a low-pass filter, a high-pass filter, a band-pass filter, or a combination of all three for an even wider sonic palette.
To further sculpt the sounds, we've included an envelope generator and an LFO. The custom envelope circuit creates a crisp, punchy attack for expressive performances. The dual range LFO opens up a wide range of modulation possibilities for the LFO and audio rate.
Semi-modular means that the East Beast will work without any cables or other connections.
East Beast has 9 different patchable modules (oscillator, filter, envelope, VCA, LFO, multi-mod tool, sequencer, MIDI to CV converter, and button keyboard) with 18 Eurorack-compatible patch points to connect to itself and your other devices. All for your patching pleasure.

FEATURES
East Coast style monophonic subtractive synthesizer.
Controllable via MIDI, CV, and built-in button keyboard
Fully patchable - use East Beast components as separate modules with external devices or reroute its internal patching. It's like having 9 individual modules (oscillator, filter, envelope, VCA, LFO, multi-mod tool, sequencer, MIDI to CV converter, and button keyboard).
32-step sequencer with up to 13 presets
Generative sequencing mode
Clock-synchronized arpeggiator
The step sequencer can be manipulated and transposed via MIDI and the built-in button keyboard.
Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizer developed 100% analog oscillator
Oscillator waveforms - sine, triangle, saw, square and noise - waveforms can be combined.
The oscillator includes pulse width modulation (PWM) and frequency modulation (FM).
PGH "No-Dead-Spots" variable-state, multi-mode filter (low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, combinable modes).
Analogue envelope generator
Built-in VCA
Dual range analogue LFO with triangle wave output
Digital multi-modulation tool - CV modulation control, random generator, and additional LFO and envelope generator
Internal clock with tap tempo and can be clocked by an external source
Built-in clock divider
Can be used as a stand-alone unit in its included case or removed and used as a module in eurorack format
Specifications for use as a eurorack module
Width when used as a module = 40hp
Depth when used as a module = 25mm
213mA power consumption with +12V rail
151mA power consumption with -12V rail
