DYNAUDIO Core 5

The Core 5, along with the Core Sub Compact, is an expansion of the successful Core monitor series. They are designed to meet the requirements of today's modern production environments: compact or medium-sized studios that still demand the precision of reference-quality sound. The new models have been created to seamlessly integrate with other Core speakers: they use the same reliable and proven components, the same outstanding speaker technology, as well as the same digital signal processors and amplifiers.

Compact Design

The Core 5 is the most compact model in our range of high-end professional reference monitors. It is a two-way nearfield design that has been created to operate in confined spaces in stereo configuration, or to provide width and height support in an immersive setup. And most importantly, to provide you with a level of acoustic pressure suitable for these tasks - so, if you're in a broadcast van or on a small mixing stage, your eardrums won't be subjected to excessive pressure, and you won't have to push the level to enjoy listening.

Cerotar Pro Tweeter

Like all other Core speakers (and indeed all other Dynaudio speakers), the Core 5's 28mm tweeter uses a precision soft dome membrane in conjunction with an inner Hexis dome to reduce resonances. It will play up to 29 kHz - so you'll get all the detail you need - while still maintaining a relaxed listening experience. This is crucial if you're working during a long session (once fatigue sets in, the listening experience is no longer optimal).

Immersive and Multi-Channel Versatility

The Core 5 is the perfect choice for use in all immersive formats. Paired with the new Controller 01, it offers a perfect match with acoustical pressure providing effortless listening, precise frequency response adjustment, and seamless integration for each speaker.

Full-Bandwidth Monitoring Optimized by the Core Sub Compact

The Core 5 pairs perfectly with the Core Sub Compact to form a complete full-range monitoring system. (And when we say "full-range," we mean it: it extends from 16 Hz up to 29 kHz.) This dynamic speaker/subwoofer combination allows you to work at higher sound pressure levels (SPL) while minimizing distortion and extending listening distances. You'll hear direct sound and flawless reflections, without coloration, as well as a flatter and smoother room frequency response with more consistent low-frequency imaging.

No Sample Rate Conversion

The digital input signal is processed internally at its native resolution to preserve its integrity. All DSP, filter coefficients, etc., adapt to the native sample rate of the signal.
