The Dynaudio LYD-48 is a three-way, tri-amplified studio monitor designed to deliver exceptional monitoring accuracy for both near-field and mid-field listening. Its internal 96 kHz/24-bit DSP offers advanced Position and Sound Balance settings, as well as a ±10 Hz bass extension adjustment, allowing for fine-tuning the sound to the acoustics and placement.

It features handcrafted Dynaudio drivers: a silk dome tweeter, and an MSP midrange and woofer, ensuring a natural, balanced, and fatigue-free sound reproduction. Capable of reaching 114 dB SPL at 1 meter, the LYD-48 maintains ample dynamic range and a solid stereo image at any listening level.

DSP Position and Sound Balance

The onboard DSP allows for precise adjustment of the monitor to its environment. Position mode adjusts the response depending on whether the speaker is placed near a wall or in an open space, while Sound Balance offers a choice between a more neutral or warmer sound. Bass extension, adjustable by ±10 Hz, allows you to fine-tune the bass response according to the musical style and listening volume.

Handcrafted MSP Drivers

The silk dome tweeter, with its aluminum voice coil, delivers smooth, detailed highs without harshness. The 4" (midrange) and 8" (woofer) MSP cones provide an excellent balance between rigidity and damping, resulting in precise midrange, tight bass, and controlled distortion, even during extended listening sessions.

Class-D Tri-Amplification and 96 kHz / 24-bit Processing
