EPIPHONE Inspired By Gibson SG Special P-90 (EISPCHRNH1) is an affordable replica of the original Gibson SG™ Special. Introduced in the early 1960s, the Gibson SG Special was conceived as a model that would sit between the entry-level SG Junior and the SG Standard, combining some of the stripped-down, budget-friendly attributes of the Junior with a bit more of the versatility and upgraded aesthetics associated with the now-iconic SG Standard. Despite its more pared-down approach, it quickly became associated with some of rock’s most memorable riffs and performances. This early 60s style SG Special from Epiphone has the vibe and sound heard on countless classic rock recordings.
