Erica synths Hexinverter Mutant Machine

The Hexinverter Mutant Machine is a highly versatile Eurorack analog drum synthesis module, originally designed as a snare drum generator before evolving into a true sound creation platform capable of producing kicks, snares, toms, experimental percussion, drones, and complex analog effects. Its architecture is inspired by the renowned Roland TR-909 circuitry, while offering significantly expanded modulation and sound design possibilities.

Completely analog, the Mutant Machine contains no microcontrollers: all signals and waveforms are generated by discrete components and integrated circuits, ensuring organic behavior and exceptional sonic richness. With its numerous CV inputs, multiple audio outputs, and proprietary Inverter Core oscillators, it can also be used as a complex sound source or VCO within a modular system.

Reissued by Erica Synths in collaboration with Hexinverter Electronics, the module features a modernized design and now includes a manual trigger button for more intuitive use in the studio and on stage.
