Offered as a limited-edition "Factory Special Run," this FENDER FSR American Professional II Stratocaster (0173902700) is an enhanced version of the standard production model, featuring a "chambered" ash body, a 1957 V vintage neck profile, and a trio of Fender Custom Shop Fat ‘50s pickups.
Introduced in 2020, the American Professional II Stratocaster carries on the tradition of the American Standard, combining modern features with time-tested traditional elements, all crafted with impeccable build quality. (Ash body, maple neck with Deep C profile, 22-fret narrow-tall maple fingerboard, 9.5" radius, beveled edges), Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickups, 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo).
The design features an ash body with tone chambers (to reduce the instrument’s weight without altering its core character), a bolt-on maple neck, and a maple fingerboard (set with 21 frets).
This traditional combination of woods produces a tone that is both full-bodied and responsive, dense and precise, with dynamic lows, balanced mids, and crystalline highs.
