The FENDER Limited Edition American Ultra II Stratocaster HSS solid body electric guitar (0179152721) is among the very best Fender models, excluding Custom Shop production.
It is a hybrid instrument—vintage/modern—that stays true to Fender tradition while also meeting the demands of professional musicians.

Its body is made of premium-grade torrefied ash, its neck of torrefied maple, and its fingerboard of rosewood (set with 22 medium-jumbo frets). The neck is exceptionally comfortable, featuring a Modern D profile, beveled fret edges, a 10/14" compound radius, and a sculpted neck heel that facilitates access to the higher notes.
In addition to giving the wood an elegant patina, the torrefaction process improves the instrument’s stability, sustain, clarity, and resonance, while protecting it from temperature fluctuations, humidity, and mold.

The combination of two Custom Shop Texas Special single-coil pickups, a Seymour Duncan ’59, and the S-1 circuit (which allows the latter to be configured as single- or double-coil) offers a wide range of tones, from classic Fender to hard rock.
The American Ultra Synchronized 2-Point Tremolo and locking tuners ensure precise, smooth modulation effects and remarkable chord stability.
