ABOUT THE PRODUCT
The FENDER American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster solid body electric guitar (0110250857) offers a highly attractive alternative to the Time Machine reissues from the Fender Custom Shop. Based on the original vintage models from the fifties, sixties and seventies, the American Vintage II models produce incredibly authentic tones and provide sensations that were certainly experienced by musicians at the time.
Introduced in the early '80s, the American Vintage series marked Fender's return to the forefront as the CBS era came to an end. Fender completely rethought the concept of vintage reissues, restoring original production tools, developing new pickups and reintroducing historic finishes.
