ABOUT THE PRODUCT
The FENDER American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass (0190170800) solidbody electric bass offers a very attractive alternative to the Time Machine reissues from the Fender Custom Shop. Based on the original vintage models from the fifties, sixties and seventies, the American Vintage II models produce incredibly authentic tones, and impart emotions that were certainly felt by musicians at the time.
Introduced in the early '80s, the American Vintage series marks Fender's return to the forefront as the CBS reign comes to an end. Fender completely rethought the concept of vintage reissues, restoring the original tools, developing new pickups, or reworking the original colors.
