The Scarlett 8i6 is the ideal compact studio solution that keeps equipment connected and ready to use: whether it's microphones, guitars and synths, everything is designed to keep inspiration flowing. Thanks to the improved AN and NA conversion, recordings sound crystal clear up to 24 bit/192 kHz. Two independent high-fidelity headphone outputs with dedicated volume control allow flexible monitoring during recording and mixing.

The 8i6 is equipped with two third-generation Scarlett microphone preamps: with the Air mode on it is possible to reproduce the response of Focusrite's famous ISA preamplifier, giving recordings a brighter and more open sound.

Guitars and basses via the two instrument inputs, with strong headroom, are captured without artifacts or unwanted distortion. The four flexible line inputs: two front with gain control and two rear allow you to record up to four mono sources or two stereo sources at line level (synthesizers or drum machines) with enhanced clarity.

A pair of virtual "looping" inputs allows you to capture a stereo source from any combination of hardware inputs and software playback channels, making podcasting, live broadcasting and even sampling easier.

The Scarlett 8i6 connects directly to a Mac or PC via a USB cable, without any external power supply. It is delivered with all the necessary software tools to get started. This includes two DAWs: Ableton Live Lite and Pro Tools First Focusrite Creative Pack. Intuitive enough for beginners, but advanced enough to inspire real creativity with its remarkable audio processing.
