Franklin MP-10
The Franklin Audio MP-10 is a compact and versatile microphone-to-instrument preamp designed for use with effects pedals, amplifiers, or systems requiring an instrument signal. It cleanly converts low-level microphone signals to signals suitable for instrument-level inputs, while providing appropriate impedance and a wide gain range. This unit offers high sonic transparency and extended dynamic range to best preserve the original signal quality, whether it's vocals, acoustic instruments, or other microphone sources.
It is particularly useful for applying guitar or bass effects pedals to a microphone signal, allowing access to creative or original sonic textures that would otherwise be impossible. Its rugged design and standard 9V DC (center negative) power supply make it convenient for both studio and live use. In addition, it includes a "Mic Thru" output, allowing you to capture a clean microphone signal for mixing or recording while simultaneously processing the main signal.
