ABOUT THE PRODUCT

The FURCH Blue CM a OMc (LRB1) is an Orchestra Model (cutaway) electro-acoustic guitar featuring a solid AA-grade cedar top, a solid AA-grade African mahogany back and sides, a solid African mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard, and an LR Baggs EAS-VTC preamp.
It is a versatile and functional instrument of exquisite craftsmanship, offering exceptional value for the price.

The Furch Blue CM features an all-solid-wood construction with a cedar top, a laminated mahogany body, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.
Cedar (a conifer native to the Middle East, North Africa, and the Himalayas, and now acclimatized in Europe) is a less dense wood than spruce. Acoustically, this characteristic translates to added warmth. Cedar tends to amplify soft sounds while tempering the high volumes produced by powerful strums.
It thus produces a responsive, rich, and warm tone with bass that is both smooth and precise, punchy mids, and clear highs.

The LR Baggs EAS-VTC active system allows for easy and effective amplification of the instrument. Volume and tone control knobs are discreetly positioned on the inner edge of the soundhole. The sound is dynamic, open, and faithful to the guitar’s true character.

The Blue series offers the brand’s most affordable “all-solid” instruments. The minimalist design emphasizes tonal quality.
The open-pore finish provides a remarkable level of protection while optimizing the guitar’s resonance properties.
Housed in a carbon sleeve, the Furch CNR bidirectional truss rod allows for precise adjustment of the neck’s curvature while stabilizing it.

Furch guitars are exceptionally well-crafted and are on par with equivalent models offered by leading American brands.
At Furch, it all begins with an uncompromising selection of wood species, during which environmental considerations are taken very seriously.
Next comes the drying process, which the company spent many years perfecting before achieving optimal results.
The classification of woods according to various criteria (color, grain, consistency, rigidity, etc.) also leaves nothing to chance.

As we know, the soundboard and its braces play a fundamental role in the instrument’s sound and longevity. Here again, Furch draws on its three decades of expertise, which has enabled it to find the optimal balance between stiffness, volume, sustain, and dynamics.

The finish is by no means the least important factor in the equation that defines great acoustic guitars. Furch has gone the extra mile to develop an effective protective finish that fully preserves the sonic integrity of its guitars. Its finishes are stunning, but above all, they are extremely uniform and consistent in thickness.
