Gibson Victory Baritone - graphite metallic
Solid body electric guitar (28" scale), metal style, made in the United States.
With its double asymmetrical cutaway and Explorer-style headstock, the Victory has remained an iconic Gibson design from the 1980s.
The GIBSON Victory Baritone (VICB00GRCH1) reimagines the model and will undoubtedly be appreciated by contemporary metal guitarists (metalcore, doom, Stoner), optimized for alternative low tunings (factory-set to B-B, gauge 013-062).
The baritone feature allows for the use of heavy string gauges and alternative low tunings (such as Drop A or Drop B) while maintaining optimal string tension and comfortable playability, all while minimizing issues with intonation and chord stability.
The combination of its Les Paul Custom-inspired design (mahogany body, set mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard) and powerful ELEV8 pickups delivers massive, aggressive, and precise tones. It also offers plenty of flexibility thanks to the push/pull knobs (which allow for different coil-wiring options).
Finally, its remarkable ergonomics are worth noting: a contoured body-to-neck joint, a beveled area where the guitar rests against the chest, and a hybrid 10/16" radius.
