The GRETSCH G5622 Electromatic Center Block Double-Cut with V-Stoptail (2508300598) electric guitar is part of the Electromatic democratic range, and features a solid spruce center block that limits the feedback problems inherent in hollow-bodied guitars, and allows relatively high levels of saturation.
It is equipped with Gretsch Black Top Broad'Tron humbucking pickups, both warm and expressive. A push-pull function for switching between single- and double-coil pickups adds a welcome touch of versatility.
The laurel used for the fingerboard is a high-quality alternative to rosewood. With its superior density and stability, its acoustic performance is comparable to that of Brazilian rosewood.
