Isla instruments S2400
The S2400 is a sampler offered by the brand Isla Instruments.
In collaboration with a small team of talented software engineers, computer-aided design (CAD) engineers, and renowned artists, Isla Instruments has created what we consider to be a future classic.
For Isla Instruments, the S2400 is much more than a project; it’s a quest to recreate the sound of one of the most iconic sampling machines in the world while adapting it with modern features. The result: a perfect blend of old-school technology and contemporary advancements.
Brad has been obsessed with drum machines for many years—owning, repairing, restoring, and modifying countless models (you can see his modifications of the HR-16 on YouTube).
Staying true to both the sonic characteristics and the design aesthetic has been the main driving force behind this project for Isla Instruments, while bringing the hardware into the 21st century and preserving the same “instant gratification” and intuitiveness as its spiritual predecessor.
