Much like an optical prism, which takes white light and breaks it apart into the different colors, the Jackson Audio PRISM takes your guitar’s natural tone and allows you to boost it, shape it and transform it into a new tone that is uniquely you!

Note: There is an internal regulator inside the PRISM that takes the incoming DC voltage from your power supply and regulates it to a precise 9V DC. Running the PRISM at 18V will not improve your tone or alter it in any way. It will simply cause the regulator to run hotter thus shortening its life. We have an internal charge pump (it increases voltage) that we use to increase the voltage internally from 9V to 18V for some of the circuits.
