The JB Systems LIVE-16 is a professional analog mixing console designed for live performances, DJs, bands, and permanent installations. It offers 16 inputs across 14 channels, including 12 mono mic/line inputs with combo connectors, one mono/stereo mic/line input, and one mono/stereo mic/line/USB/player input. An additional stereo input allows for easy connection of an external source, and a recording output is also available.
Connectivity is modern and comprehensive: a built-in Bluetooth receiver, a bidirectional USB port for PC/Mac playback and recording, and a USB player capable of playing WMA, WAV, FLAC, APE, and MP3 files. The 32-bit DSP processor offers 99 built-in effects, allowing you to add reverbs, delays, or modulation effects as needed for your performance.
Each channel features a gain control, a 3-band EQ, two pre-fader auxiliary sends, a post-fader AUX/FX send, panning, a level fader, a peak meter, a mute, a PFL, and routing to the main output or Groups 1 and 2. The mono channels have a low-cut filter and independent 48V phantom power.
The LIVE-16 also includes a 7-band graphic EQ on the main output, ideal for fine-tuning the overall sound of a PA system. The main outputs are available as balanced XLR connectors, and the console offers a headphone output with level control. The Groups 1 and 2 outputs have their own level control and can be routed to the master output.
On the practical side, the console measures 63 × 38 × 12 cm and weighs 6.64 kg, making it easily portable. It operates on a 100–240 V AC (50/60 Hz) power supply with a power consumption of approximately 35 W.
