Omera guitars Lesly - black hole
A graduate of the E.M.C. (School of Contemporary Music), Reda Boucher is a renowned guitar teacher and a highly popular French YouTuber, particularly thanks to his channel "Le Campus Musique de Reda." He is even sponsored as an Ibanez national artist, which is undeniably a major achievement.
For several years, he has been working on his own guitar brand with the goal of offering high-quality, versatile, modern, and ergonomic instruments that are also affordable.
To say the least, it seems he’s pulled it off! Entirely designed by Reda, manufactured in China according to strict specifications, and then inspected in France before being shipped to retailers, the first two models—the Lesly and the Lucy—are absolutely remarkable. The selection of woods, as well as the performance of the pickups and hardware, are typically found in more expensive instruments.
The OMERA GUITARS Lesly (Black Hole) catches the eye from the very first glance with its extraordinary design. Its construction features a Paulownia body, a bolt-on roasted maple neck (C-profile), and a roasted maple fingerboard (24 frets, 25.5" scale length, 9.5" radius).
This combination produces responsive, rich, and precise tones, with dynamic lows, balanced mids, and clear highs.
. Highly regarded by the world’s leading instrument makers (Suhr, Sandberg), Paulownia is poised to become a benchmark wood that, in the long run, has every chance of replacing ash. Extremely lightweight, aesthetically appealing, and a fast-growing tree, Paulownia has it all. Stable and highly resonant, it produces impressive volume. The mids are warm, the bass is clear, and the highs are mellow. In short, it offers the best of both worlds—combining the qualities of ash and alder
. In addition to giving the wood an elegant patina, the torrefaction process improves the instrument’s stability, sustain, clarity, and resonance, while protecting it from temperature fluctuations, humidity, and mold.
The Omera Menace pickup, equipped with AlNiCo V magnets, is a modern humbucking pickup capable of delivering a wide variety of overdrive tones—from blues to metal—that are always organic and responsive. Thanks to the push-pull volume and tone controls, you can achieve remarkable clean and crunch tones.
The rest of the guitar’s features are equally impressive, with 18:1 ratio locking tuners for precise and stable tuning, and a bone nut.
If you’re looking to purchase a high-performance, contemporary solid body electric guitar that breaks the mold, is a joy to play, and is offered at an extremely competitive price, we recommend checking out the Omera Guitars Lucy.
